Strategic Framework

Our Vision: To develop robust, sustainable systems that securely protect and promote the foundational rights of the community.
Our Mission: To create impactful opportunities for the underprivileged, ensuring their constitutional and human rights are fully protected and realized.

Organizational Background & Genesis

Basic Uthan Avam Gramin Sewa Sansthan (BUAGSS) officially came into existence on 1st January 2005 and was registered on 28th December 2005 under the relevant societies registration acts. Founded by a cohort of like-minded social thinkers and professionals in the Barabanki district, the organization holds a comprehensive objective of sustainable community development and grassroot social empowerment.

The institutional evolution of BUAGSS is deeply rooted in the lived experiences and hardships of its Founder President, Mr. Ratnesh Kumar. Coming from an economically marginalized agrarian background, Mr. Kumar undertook various arduous manual jobs during his youth for basic survival. This profound period of personal struggle ignited a lifelong commitment to alleviate poverty and bring social justice to thousands of underprivileged rural and urban families across Barabanki.

Driven by the ethos of grassroots community participation, Mr. Kumar initially mobilized youth and children in his native village, Chhandwal. Recognizing that systemic change requires institutional architecture, he established the "Child Friendly School for SC Students" in 2005. Built entirely on voluntary community contributions, this school provides completely free education, seamlessly catering to over 150 Scheduled Caste (SC) students and 32 OBC students annually. Graduates from this institution are today gainfully employed, bringing dignity and financial stability to their households.

Leadership Profile & Advisory Engagements

The Founder President, Mr. Ratnesh Kumar, commands extensive specialized expertise spanning child welfare, adult literacy, family reconciliation, and elderly rehabilitation. His technical competence has been recognized across various state-level statutory bodies, where he has previously served as:

Notably, Mr. Kumar pioneered the highly successful concept of "Residential Educational Camps for Girls". This innovative framework was officially adopted and sponsored by UNICEF under the project title "PAHLA KADAM" in the Barabanki district.
